Jeremy Sopko is co-founder and CEO of Nations Lending Corporation™, headquartered in the Cleveland suburb of Independence, Ohio. He started the business with life-long friend Bill Osborne in 2003 and just seven other employees. Today, Nations Lending has helped more than 50,000 families achieve home ownership and/or refinance existing mortgages, and reached the milestone of $10 billion in originations. Nations Lending has seen triple-digit revenue growth over the last three years (233 percent) and has a strategic growth plan to build upon that success and become a Top 10 IMB in the next 5 years.
A born-and-raised Buckeye, Jeremy was honored with an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the northeast Ohio region, as well as an induction into the Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame for 2013. Under his leadership, Nations Lending has received more than a dozen company accolades, including the 2018 Inc. 5000 List, recognizing the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. and a 3-time Top Lender by Scotsman Guide. Nations Lending employs more than 700 people, with more than 70 branches across the United States. The company is licensed to conduct business in 47 states and in the District of Columbia.
Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at Miami University (OH). His hobbies include painting, playing guitar with his youngest daughter and taking Taekwondo lessons with both his girls. Jeremy’s children have also helped him rekindle his love for roller coasters, as they drag their dad each summer to the coaster park. Jeremy lives in suburban Cleveland with his wife and four kids.
